Read on, and I'll tell you
later!
Right now I want to establish
the scenario. This came out of my
contemplation of Mother Teresa's
statement when asked what she did
as she walked the streets of
Calcutta. (I referred to this in
another website piece.) Her
wonderful response was,
"I see Jesus Christ
on the face of everyone I
see."
As I thought about her and
what she must have been doing as
she practiced this, I saw a way
to adapt this in practicing
beholding the Jesus Christ
consciousness in everyone. I have
admitted in at least one website
piece that I have not practiced
this consistently - and I
devoutly want to!
The way that came to me was to
remember the scientific theory
postulated by the British
biologist Rupert Sheldrake. I
have written of his idea in
several websites. He believes
that every breakthrough of
consciousness enters the stream
of consciousness for the whole
membership of a species. Later I
have written of the findings of a
Canadian scientist, Dr. Andrew
Roger, that breakthroughs are
shared with all species and
elements of the whole of
life!
Now the point I am developing
here is that it is one thing to
think of the potential of the
Christ Mind in every person and a
much greater thing to relate to
absolutely everyone in spite of
appearances the idea that Jesus
Christ's breakthrough in
consciousness is in the process
of getting the attention of every
human being. Truth is Truth. It
is not exclusively Christian nor
Muslim nor Taoist nor Hindu, etc.
.
I absolutely accept the idea
that the Jesus Christ
breakthrough is knocking on the
door of every human being waiting
for the door to be opened by each
individual one at a time!
Now we can look at what to do
with the Blankety Blanks. Who are
they? Well, each of us probably
have at least a short list of
persons we cannot stand or have
some kind of difficulty with -
such as drivers! Have you
blankety blanked a few in your
time? If so, you probably didn't
feel too proud of yourself
afterwards. Am I being
autobiographical now?!
These are the very persons we
MUST learn to love, to include in
our Mother Teresa practice, so
see the Jesus Christ
consciousness at their doorstep,
to realize that they are God's
perfect and precious creation
capable of all that Jesus
promised and predicted for each
and everyone of us!
If I indeed absolutely accept
this idea, then it is up to me to
put it into practice. The
consistency follows the
beginning, the commitment to it
as a valid idea, one worthy of
practicing, trusting it to show
forth once it has become what we
do all the time instead of
occasionally.
And the number of blankety
blanks will be gradually reduced
as we increase our practice. And
then it will really be "what a
wonderful world!"
